Terms of service

Last updated: 3 November 2026

Welcome to Miarus. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of miarus.com (the “Website”) and every purchase you make from us. Please read them carefully before placing an order. By using the Website or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

These Terms should be read together with our Returns and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy, which form part of the agreement between you and us.

1. About us

The Website is operated by NovaSupplies VOF, trading as Miarus (“we”, “us”, “our”), a business registered in the Netherlands under business number 98765795, with its address at PG Nieuwkerkpad 36, 3555TN Utrecht, The Netherlands. You can contact us at info@miarus.com. Our customer service hours are shown at the end of these Terms.

2. Definitions

  • “Consumer” means an individual who buys goods from us wholly or mainly for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession.
  • “Goods” means the products shown on the Website that you order from us.
  • “Contract” means the agreement between you and us for the sale and purchase of Goods, made up of your order, our dispatch confirmation and these Terms.
  • “Order” means your request to buy Goods from us through the Website.
  • “Business day” means Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in England.

3. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old and have a UK delivery address to place an order. By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into a binding contract and that the information you give us is true, accurate and complete.

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Please tell us immediately if you think someone else has used your account. We may suspend or close an account if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached or that the account is being misused.

4. Products and descriptions

We make every effort to describe and display our Goods accurately, including by showing images, specifications and dimensions. However, colours may appear differently on different screens, and minor variations can occur. Product information is provided for guidance. If you need more detail before buying, please contact us at info@miarus.com.

All Goods are subject to availability. If an item is out of stock after you have ordered, we will tell you as soon as possible and offer you a refund or, where available, a suitable alternative.

5. Prices and payment

All prices on the Website are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown separately and are added to your total at checkout before you pay. There are no hidden fees. We will tell you before you pay if any other charges could apply to your order.

Prices and offers may change at any time, but a change will not affect an order that has already been confirmed. Promotional prices and discount codes are valid only for the period and conditions stated and cannot be combined unless we say so.

Payment is taken in full when you place your order, using one of the payment methods offered at checkout. Payments are handled by secure third-party payment providers. We may carry out checks to prevent fraud, and we may cancel or hold an order and refund you if payment cannot be authorised or verified.

Pricing errors. Although we check our prices carefully, errors can occur. If we find that an order has been placed at an incorrect price, we will contact you before dispatch. You can choose to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund. We are not required to supply Goods at an obviously incorrect price, even if we have already acknowledged your order.

6. How your order is accepted

When you place an order, you will receive an email acknowledging that we have received it. This is not an acceptance of your order. Our acceptance takes place, and a binding Contract is formed, when we send you an email confirming that the Goods have been dispatched.

If we cannot accept your order, for example because the Goods are unavailable, the price is wrong, or we cannot verify payment or delivery details, we will tell you and refund any money you have paid. We may limit the quantity of any item you can order.

7. Delivery

We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom, as explained in our Shipping Policy, which also gives processing times, delivery estimates and costs. Delivery times are estimates, not guaranteed dates. Unless we agree otherwise, we will deliver your Goods within 30 days of the day we accept your order.

If we are late, you may be entitled to a remedy under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including setting a new delivery deadline and, if we still do not deliver, cancelling the order for a refund. The Goods are your responsibility from the time they are delivered to you. Ownership of the Goods passes to you when we have received full payment and the Goods have been delivered.

8. Right to cancel and returns

As a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel your order. We offer a 30-day return period from the day you receive the Goods, which is longer than the 14 days required by law. The details of how to cancel, how to return Goods, who pays for return postage, and how refunds are made are set out in our Returns and Refund Policy.

9. Faulty, damaged or incorrect Goods

All Goods we sell must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If your Goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, you have the legal rights explained in our Returns and Refund Policy, including the right to a refund, repair or replacement. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights.

10. Our right to cancel or suspend

We may cancel an order, in whole or in part, before dispatch if:

  • the Goods are unavailable or no longer sold;
  • there is an error in the price or description;
  • we cannot verify your payment, identity or delivery details;
  • we reasonably suspect fraud, resale for commercial purposes or abuse of promotions;
  • an event outside our reasonable control prevents us from fulfilling the order.

If we cancel an order, we will tell you promptly and refund any money you have paid for it.

11. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms if it is caused by an event beyond our reasonable control. This includes severe weather, natural disaster, fire, flood, pandemic, war or terrorism, strikes or labour disputes, failure of public networks or utilities, carrier or customs disruption, and changes in law. If such an event continues for more than 30 days, either of us may cancel the affected order, and we will refund any amount paid for Goods not delivered.

12. Use of the Website

You agree to use the Website lawfully and not to:

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, our systems or other users’ accounts;
  • introduce viruses, malware or other harmful code;
  • use bots, scrapers or other automated tools to collect data from the Website without our written permission;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Website or its security;
  • use the Website to make fraudulent or false orders, or to buy Goods for resale without our written agreement;
  • copy, reproduce, distribute or exploit any part of the Website except as allowed by these Terms.

We may restrict or suspend your access to the Website without notice if you breach these Terms.

13. Intellectual property

All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, images, product descriptions, layout and software, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual-property laws. You may view and print pages from the Website for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or otherwise use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent. All trade marks displayed on the Website belong to their respective owners.

14. Reviews, feedback and user content

If you submit a review, comment or other content, you confirm that it is truthful, lawful and your own, and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights or contain offensive, defamatory or misleading material. You give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display, reproduce and use that content on the Website and in our marketing. We may edit or remove any content at our discretion. We do not pay for, or offer incentives in exchange for, positive reviews.

15. Our responsibility to you

We provide the Goods for domestic and private use only. You agree not to use them for any commercial, business or resale purpose, and we are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or of our negligence. Loss is foreseeable if it was an obvious consequence of our breach or if it was contemplated by you and us when the Contract was made.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of your legal rights regarding the Goods (including satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and description), for defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

The Website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free from errors, and we are not liable for any technical issues beyond our reasonable control. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content.

16. Data protection

We process your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By placing an order, you acknowledge that we will use your data as needed to fulfil your order and comply with the law.

17. Complaints and dispute resolution

If you have a complaint, please email info@miarus.com with your order number and details of the issue. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 1 business day and resolve them within 14 days. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may use an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider approved under UK law. Although we are not obliged to use ADR, we will consider any reasonable request. For independent advice about your rights, you can contact Citizens Advice on 0808 223 1133 or at citizensadvice.org.uk.

18. Notices and communications

When we need to contact you, we will use the email address or phone number you gave us when you placed your order. A notice by email is treated as received 24 hours after it is sent. To contact us formally, email info@miarus.com or write to us at our business address shown below.

19. Transfer of rights

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation, and we will tell you if this happens. This will not affect your rights. You may only transfer your rights or obligations to someone else with our written agreement.

20. General

  • Entire agreement: these Terms, together with the policies referred to in them, are the whole agreement between you and us about your purchase.
  • Severability: if any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest will remain in force.
  • No waiver: if we do not enforce a right straight away, that does not mean we are giving it up.
  • Third parties: no one other than you and us has any right to enforce these Terms.
  • Changes: we may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order is the one that applies to that order. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated.
  • Language: these Terms are provided in English, which is the language of the Contract.

21. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any Contract between you and us are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland. As a consumer, you will always benefit from the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the part of the UK where you live.
